Theological Perspective

Dr. Riser's life goal is "to know Christ and to make Him known." While his theological perspective may be expressed as progressive-conservative, evangelical, reformed, orthodox and traditional, his beliefs and expressions are in the context of honest-loving relationships.

To know Christ is to love Christ and to love Christ is to worship and serve Christ.

He has a deep trust in the sovereignty of God in all matters of life and death. He has a high view of Scripture as the final and infallible authority in faith and practice. He has great respect of the Church whom Christ has purchased with His blood. He has a strong dependence of the power of to Spirit in order to grow and serve.
